We keep it internal until the league source settles — surfacing a mismatch mid-match to a user inside an active fan group is worse than a 10 second lag. Only time we break that rule is if the delta crosses a threshold say a fixture shifts by 30+ mins. Then we push a soft in-app nudge, not a hard alert. Don't want to kill the vibe for something that might self-correct 😂

@Amang9446 @fanscue That diff layer is the part I was hoping existed. Do you surface fixture mismatches to users, or keep it internal until the league source settles?

100% felt this in production 😅 Our approach is to treat the league source as truth, always. Feed gets a TTL, and on conflict we invalidate the cache and re-fetch rather than try to reconcile. Also built a diff layer that flags fixture mismatches before they hit the client so the group that just joined a match doesn't see a ghost fixture.

@Amang9446 @fanscue Live scores are where a mobile app quietly becomes infra work. How are you handling stale fixtures when the feed and the league source disagree?

The rate limit increases are only for the 5 hour cycle not for your weekly cycle. Just keep that in mind, you can burn through your weekly limits 2x faster.
