@Hemmerz_ I 100% agree there should be consensus across all parties to tackle this. What I am calling out is the hypocrisy of the Tory party to suddenly call for an inquiry when they could have done it when they were in power. The didn’t need “new” information to do so.

@Hemmerz_ Jenrick is being disingenuous. What new information ? I haven’t seen anything new that wasn’t already known. He is jumping on Elon’s bandwagon for political purposes. As for Cooper the new law was one of the recommendations of the Jay report. Nothing new there

@AmarNHaz More evidence of the cover up has come to light recently though. Elon has stirred stuff, of course. Bringing light to this topic has its positives though? Instead of picking a side I just want justice for the kids and sentences for those animals.

@Hemmerz_ It hasn’t just come to light though. Like I said this was first uncovered in 2012. Failings of local authorities and police have already been exposed. There have already been multiple reports and investigations into this. Elon is bringing this all up again to cause trouble.

@Hemmerz_ @footballontnt Yeah of course there are inconsistencies across referees decisions in general. However, delaying a restart is surely one of the easiest infringements for a ref to spot. Personally, I suspect they went too hard with it at the beginning of the season and now they have relaxed a bit

@AmarNHaz @footballontnt Yeah, but this applies to all decisions? The refs are inconsistent. How many times do we say ‘last week this was given and yet this wasn’t’ lol look at delays penalty against us and you can compare this to a load of other decisions not given. The refs are shite mate

@Hemmerz_ It’s the hypocrisy they are booing. The grooming gangs was first uncovered in 2012 by The Times. It’s been in the public domain for years. The Tories could have launched an inquiry anytime during the 14 years they were in power but didn’t. Now suddenly they want an inquiry…🤔

@Hemmerz_ @footballontnt Not disputing that there have been other yellows for delaying the restart. However, there is definitely an inconsistency (or even a relaxing of the rule) as to when refs apply this.
