I thank God for the gift of trading. I was about to be homeless with my children and we were running out of food when I stumbled on the markets. No one taught me how to do this. I knew that my discipline needed to match my desperation in order to make it. I honored my plan because I saw it as honoring my family even on the days that it felt hard to do so. I will never discourage people who have no money or a small amount of money from trading. Everything you need is on YouTube FOR FREE and it's up to YOU how far you go and the amount of time you take to get there. None of you knew me when I became profitable and there's no record of me learning this online. If you are in a dark or lonely place and your back is against the wall with finances, GET OFF THE INTERNET and double down on screen time + proper education... which can be found for free on YouTube. I believe everyone has a chance at making it but you have to do what others are not willing to. Show up EVERYDAY and focus on being better than yesterday in both execution and knowledge. Backtest what you've learned but also Backtest YOURSELF. You have to get to the bottom of your struggles in both trading and life. If nothing changes, NOTHING CHANGES. Whatever habits you don't kill on the way up will kill you on the way down. Your journey to profitability is not on X, IG or any other platform. It's in the hours of isolation that feel lonely, difficult to navigate and found AFTER the pruning process. Do what you have to do now so you can do what you want to do later. -Dave

@t0mbfx That’s one of the things I never realised when I got into trading. How boring it can be. Don’t get me wrong. I have a passion for trading. But once the initial learning curve is over, there’s nothing to do but wait. And that’s where most traders slip up.

Profitable trading is so boring I know guys who make 6 figures a year from trading who go back to working part-time just to fill their day Dudes will literally make $10k in a trade then go an work a $20/hour job for a few hours lol That’s why I started my Discord lol - before that I would just trade for 1-2 hours a day then just be bored for the rest of it At least now I can talk to my members and help people with their trading

@AmaraBeee8 Nice. I found reading Fantasy novels really great. They spurred me on to writing in my spare time. So learning a new craft to serve as a creative outlet is great. You’ll create characters, situations n stories that entertain you as much as your readers.

I lost all my accounts but knew I'd not give up on trading. Traded all sessions despite knowing some sessions have a higher win rate and have a higher probability than others. Backtesting is great but you still have to defeat yourself. You still have to develop discipline.

@BossGbini Thanks. I believe I have this under control. I was trading out of boredom. I need toys or somethings to keep me occupied. Started playing Roblox and stopped trading completely, that is so addictive. Stopped playing and now looking for something positive to fill my time.
