Alonso needs to bring back an identity to Chelsea FC. He and the board need to be ruthless this summer. No Chelsea fan deserves what we have seen in 3 out of the 4 seasons. Really sad to think about all those fans who travelled several hours up the country to watch that.

We were elite under Roman Abramovich, we signed top players to complement the already great players we had. Now BlueCo has infected parts of the fan base with a mediocre mentality. Some fans now believe it’s acceptable to cash in on one of your best players simply because he asked for the salary increase he clearly deserves. The identity of Chelsea is in great danger.

Can we still call Chelsea a big club if all we do is groom and sell our best players to other big clubs? Back in the day, players only left Chelsea because they wanted a new challenge, weren’t good enough for the club, or simply couldn’t get enough playing time. We never lost our best players because of wages. Roman gave everything to make sure that never happened, and in return he only asked for one thing: trophies. If Roman had run Chelsea the way BlueCo are running it now, we would have been relegated long ago. BlueCo has reduced Chelsea to Brighton’s level. Even smaller clubs like Arsenal no longer fear or respect us.
