@DitchLilyTiger It is… just not good IMO. Dude is trying his best to make it better but the writing is - wow. There’s only so much he can do. I will watch to support him but I can’t pretend I think it’s an Emmy contender.

When I was growing up there were FILM MUSTS that my friends and I all agreed on you HAD to see. You may have never seen these. I recommend changing that. They were... EVIL DEAD 2/ARMY OF DARKNESS - No movie has been quoted more. Coupled with the stories of Sam Raimi's crew of misfits making the movie, along with his subsequent films such as Darkman and Quick and the Dead are incredible watches if you're interested in the quirkier side of action filmmaking. When my friend Max explained that he saw a movie called "Evil Dead 2" and I asked, "Do I need to see Evil Dead 1?" he laughed and said, "I don't think there is an Evil Dead 1!" (you'll see) HUDSUCKER PROXY - I like Raising Arizona more, but the Coen Brothers are required viewing. Hudsucker is just a strange artifact where Jennifer Jason Leigh does the best version of Lois Lane you'll ever see EL MARIACHI - the legend of the making of this movie launched a thousand film dreams (READ REBEL WITHOUT A CREW) and its sequel (DESPERADO) is one of my favorite movies of all time. THE PROFESSIONAL - This flick started a french film watching craze with all Luc Besson films and rolling over to gems like City of the Lost Children BRAZIL - the door of Terry Gilliam, once opened, may never be shut again. HARD BOILED - John Wick exists because John Woo does. DEAD ALIVE - Long before LOTR, this video cover CALLED to us from the shelves claiming to be "THE GORIEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME" - This plus, Meet the Feebles, and Dead Alive makes you wonder how in the heck someone gave him the money to do LOTR. Not because they aren't good...because they're bananas. BUCKAROO BANZAI - It's strange. It's weird. It's hard to explain. BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA - Or, ALL JOHN CARPENTER. He was an instant cult hero, from whom all these other guys basically cribbed from. The library until Village of the Damned is undefeated.
