I assigned a Google Slides presentation for my 3rd graders as a getting to know them assignment. I showed them some simple tips and they have taken their presentations beyond my expectations. So excited to see them present them to our class on Friday. 🥰

@AmberO68 I completely agree! I told my class about it and showed them some pictures. Coonce's class was fascinated!! 👀 They all had questions and I'm sure they would have discussed it for an hour if they had the time.

A5: I like going on hiking adventures, but most recently I went caving with a colleague @AmberO68. We tested our physical and mental strength. Another class in our building was reading about caves and I got to share my experience. Answering their questions was amazing! #3rdchat

2 weeks ago we planted seeds after studying plant life cycles. We've been recording the growth they have seen the past 2 weeks. It's so amazing to see my students get excited when they see the roots and say, "See my plant's roots? That's how it gets it's nutrients to grow ".

They were on the hunt for sneaky Sloof Lirpa bird. They swore they saw one in the tree. 🤣

After researching and writing reports about penguins, my students use a green screen app to record their reports. #thefranklindifference
