For the past 7 years ever since I've started to be involved in bigger internet circles & gotten more involved in internet friendships and relationships, there is one thing that annoys me beyond belief, probably more so than the average human. And that thing is ghosting. Hate it.

7 years. It's been 7 years since I committed to this back in 2019. I wish it could've been closer to 17, had I came out sooner in late 2009/early 2010, but as they say, beggars can't be choosers. But I feel... oddly accomplished about how far I've come since then. Feels good.

It just drives me insane. I get it, life can be busy, you might have a day or two every week or so when you just don't feel up to socializing a bunch. But I beg of you, for people like me. Please at least try to avoid the ghosting epidemic. It saves a lot of trouble both ways.

I hate ghosting so much, because I pour my heart and soul into most interactions, because I want to build connections. To make people happy. And to make myself happy about others are happy. But when I'm ghosted consistently, it just feels like that time and effort goes to waste.

@AmethyPhoenix Same here, I’ve long since made AO3 my main “FF” Site, where I’ll be posting newly exclusive content to there, but also try and migrate my old (but good) content to the site as well. It doesn’t seem like FFN will EVER be fixed and updated.

The search index is built on top of the stories database to allow users to browse easily. Unfortunately, the search database has experienced corruption that will require a lengthy rebuild process.
