Under the ceasefire proposal, Hamas is supposed to fully disarm and relinquish power in Gaza. After my recent visit to Israel, it is clear to me they have failed to do both and are, in fact, rearming and consolidating power. It is time to put Hamas on the clock when it comes to disarming, fully understanding there can never be peace or stability in Gaza or the Middle East until Hamas has been dealt out of the game.
