Very pleased to have my youngest boy, who was born In Wellington- NZ baptised today in Baucau at St. Anthony Cathedral. Thanks to my colleague Egas da Costa, former Ambassador of #TimorLeste to Holly See (Vatican) and Spouse for accepting to become the Godparents of my Kiwiboy.

After settling down back in #TimorLeste early this month, it was really a privilege for me and my wife to stand as witnesses (padrinhos de casamento) during the official wedding ceremony of my nephew Juvenio and his bride today in Baucau @ Bucoli Catholic Church ⛪️!

Great to know that ‘sexual assiduity’ is now a crime in #TimorLeste. Hopefully Public Service Commission (Commissao Funcao Publica) can now investigate ‘sexual misconducts’ commited by govt. officials within state institutions, including Ministry of ForeignAffairs ‘n Cooperation

My last visit to @MFATgovtNZ building today, to farewell the Chief of Protocol @MichaelSwainNZ . I recall 5 1/2 years ago, my first visit was done for a courtesy call to former Chief of Protocol Caroline B. 🙏 to Protocol Division for the support given during my posting in NZ.
