@Siradhvaja no evidence has been found to prove that the Rigveda predates this. They are merely making a claim,and a claim is not evidence.
The key point is that the Rigveda is in the Sanskrit language and the Devanagari script,which indicates that it was composed after the Buddhism.

@Siradhvaja Incorrect. According to the Gov.of India and UNESCO, the oldest surviving RV manuscript dates to around 1400 AD, after the Buddhism. Also, there is no such term as 'Vedic Sanskrit'; the only recognized terms are 'Buddhist Hybrid Sanskrit' and 'Classical Sanskrit,

@Amit24TD False, Yoga is attested the earliest in the RV, for example IV.24.4: "kratūyánti kshitáyo yóga ugrāṣushāṇā́so mithó árṇasātau sáṃ yád víṣó 'vavṛitranta yudhmā́ ā́d ín néma indrayante abhī́ke" No, the Upaniṣads are in Vedic Sanskrit, see Burrow (2001) and Witz (1998).
