Grateful to present our work at #DDW2026 #DDW GLP-1 receptor agonist use was associated with a decreased risk of IBD-related surgery compared to non–GLP-1 use. We also observed a significant reduction in HbA1c in the GLP-1 group. IBD related hospitalizations trended lower with GLP-1 use but did not reach statistical significance. Thankful for the mentorship and support from Drs. #talhamalik and #nathandelafield . Excited to share our latest publication in JABFM on the diagnosis and management of pectus excavatum (PE) in primary care! This serves as a practical guide to help clinicians recognize PE early and outlines the next steps to ensure timely management and surgical referral.

Really enjoyed presenting at the @LatinoSurgery ‘s Surgical Symposium Very happy with the feedback on the visuals & a Dr’s comment who noted the findings might influence his practice. Phenomenal venue and organization Couldn’t ask for a better mentor than @IrvingJorgeMD
