Our AMLEU members from the DC region coordinated and participated in a drug awareness workshop for the youth of the MarThoma Church of Greater Washington presented by the Maryland-National Capital Park Police in partnership with the City of Takoma Park Police Department.

This 9-year-old from Texas was thrown from his wheelchair by a bully after dressing as a police officer during career day at his school. This morning, he got to meet many of his heroes, who escorted him along on a tour of NYPD Headquarters.
