~400 million people read Arabic, Persian, or Urdu. Most of the web wasn't built for them. The fix's been in Tailwind for years — ms-4 instead of ml-4, text-start instead of text-left. They auto-flip when dir="rtl" is set. But nothing enforces it, so nobody writes them consistently. eslint-plugin-tailwind-rtl catches physical direction classes, suggests the logical equivalent, and auto-fixes with eslint --fix. Three lines of config. Screenshot attached. ammar.codes/posts/eslint-t…

Today marks a historic moment. nsave is now the first and only global financial platform supporting Syria. For 14 years, an entire nation was locked out of the global economy. Families watched savings vanish to inflation. Parents couldn't receive support from children abroad. A generation grew up without bank accounts. Starting today. Anyone, anywhere, can send money to Syria through nsave safely, quickly, and compliantly. In addition, Syrians living in Syria will be able to open USD accounts, send and receive funds globally, transact instantly with other nsave users, access savings, and withdraw funds locally. This has taken more than a year of work, deep compliance, patient partner-building, and a team that refused to give up on a mission many people thought was too hard. To everyone who joined the waitlist and waited patiently with us: all your transfers from nsave to Syria will be completely free for the next two weeks. Consider it our small way of saying thank you for believing in us early. To every Syrian who has waited too long for access, dignity, and connection: this is for you. nsave for Syria is now live.

✉️ Trying @Cloudflare's new Email Sending feature today If you send 1,000,000 emails per month: - Postmark: $1,206/mo - Resend: $650/mo - SendGrid: $600/mo - Cloudflare: $354/mo - Amazon SES: $100/mo So Postmark is now by far the most expensive email provider And SES and Cloudflare are now the cheapest email providers I know my friend @marckohlbrugge is trying out SES now so I'll try Cloudflare and see how it is, SES is cheaper but Marc said it takes a bit more managing, and since I already use so much Cloudflare stuff it's nice to use them for email too With AI especially all of these are just as easy to use and setup in your app/site so economically it makes sense to go for the cheapest, because email is just email, it's all the same and deliverability is good with all of these I think TL;DR email sending has become a commodity!

Kimlerle asla görüşmüyorum biliyor musunuz? Firma bilgisini telefon haricinde vermek istemeyenlerle. Devlet sırrı olduğu içün vermiyorlar sanırım. İçimden geçirdiğimi söyleyeyim: demek ki diyorum dandik bi firma ki adını bile anmak istemiyorlar.

I've been working on a searchable Arabic archive called "Damascus Chant" and just finished writing up the case study. If you're interested in things like RTL support, SSR, or map performance, you might find this useful. ammar.codes/projects/damas…
