It's felt so WARM. It's been nice, too, to welcome today's lucky ten thousand... apparently all in one place. That's delightful. So I'm seeing people say "yell about the books you love." And I think it's important to add "yell back when someone else yells about a book you love"

That's definitely what I've thought was good about all this. (Other than that I wish good fortune on people I like). People quoting it, talking about their journey into writing, people showing all the pictures of red and blue things together that they've collected...

I feel like the internet of books tries not to look backward. But it should. Because one of the things we love the most, as nerds, is loving things TOGETHER.

But I AM saying that there's a limited amount of buzz you can build when like 20 people on the planet have read a book. "You should read this. I really liked it. It comes out two months from now. HOPE YOU REMEMBER!"
