Macmillan Motari Nyakwaya (in handcuffs), a 23-year-old TikToker, was today, March 11, 2026, presented before Senior Resident Magistrate Noelyne Reuben Akee at the Kisumu Law Courts following his arrest yesterday over the alleged destruction of Kenyan currency in viral TikTok videos. The suspect was, however, not charged after the prosecution filed an application seeking to have him detained for 14 more days to allow investigators to complete investigations. On that land he built a four bedroom house,servant quarters,fenced it properly, installed water tanks,installed solar and hydroelectric systems and stocked it with about 50 cows. He funded a thriving banana plantation on the same property. He said he wanted the old woman never to beg again. Kampala friends whispered that Maureen had married beyond her expectations.
