@Amournfuls I think love starts with curiosity? But it softens into something quieter. And we keep learning each other, even as we change in small, unnoticed ways. And maybe love is just choosing to stay, gently? As they stay familiar, even while becoming someone slightly new.

This reminds me that love is grounded in curiosity. We change quietly, every day, almost without noticing. And love, real love, asks you to remain consistent; to keep learning who they are becoming, even when they begin to feel like a stranger in a familiar face.

Saw my mother again after months apart and realized she doesn’t eat the same things she used to love, she no longer follows the routines I remember, and I’ve grown out of the child she remembered. The only thing that stayed was.. the love in her eyes when she looks at me.
