Hot take, but I’ve always felt Vice City is easily the worst GTA. I’ve never fully understood the hype around it. Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere is amazing, the 80s vibe is iconic, and the soundtrack is one of the best in the series. Tommy and Ken are great characters too. But once past that, the game itself doesn’t hold up as well for me. The map feels small and empty, especially compared to San Andreas, and even GTA 3 felt bigger in some ways. Driving around and exploring isn’t that fun, which is a huge part of what makes GTA games enjoyable. The missions are where it really loses me. Many feel repetitive or straight-up frustrating, especially early on. The RC helicopter mission inside the building is a perfect example more annoying than fun. It often feels like the game is just throwing obstacles at you instead of offering natural progression. To me, it’s always felt more like a quick follow-up to GTA 3 than a fully evolved entry, leaning heavily on style over substance. It has its moments, but compared to the other GTA games, it just doesn’t hit the same.

What was your reaction when you first entered the Forgotten Temple in Hytale? I was watching videos of emotional reactions, and it made me emotional as well! This was my reward for all the sacrifices made in the past 4 months! Share your videos if you did! The temple was built from the ground up last December, just a few days ago, as a love letter to the community that has supported us throughout the acquisition. We didn't get enough time to do everything we wanted in there, but that's ok, it's going to evolve over the next few months! We had to build the map, add new VFX, a new merchant system, a new soundtrack, integrate a new memories system, place NPCs, and much more. It was such a great time, I want to add more of these special locations.

Over 60 people play-tested Hytale yesterday and gave us great feedback and bug reports! Things are doing well! They are sending us a bunch of screenshots and I’ll make sure @Hytale share some of them! There are ongoing tests the whole week and we should have some hardware min spec estimate later this week. We also did a 15 player SMP with the dev team in the morning, it was nice to see things coming together at last! Long way to go but momentum is key. Migration cape will always be my favorite, disappointed I never got the creaking cape though
