Realistically, used books never get more than a few quid unless they're rare. It costs me nothing to send off some common paperbacks in a shoebox and if they're really trash it's fine that they get pulped.

The app has lots of complaints online but as far as I can tell it's from people trying to offload dozens of books at once and being dishonest about the quality... If it's a good, new book you should sell it on eBay or vinted or something. You'll get more money!
