Hey everyone! With World Mobile having recently re-enabled staking, we would like to get your feedback on how/when to proceed with Amplifi staking: Option 1: Update Amplifi staking app to use the new WM staking system. We can aim to get this done in time for the snapshot on June 1, 2025 at 00:00 UTC Option 2: Wait until EarthNode mainnet staking is fully operational before reactivating, which would provide a more feature-complete staking experience. (Note: During this waiting period, you can still stake directly to the WM Vault.) Let us know your thoughts!

I found my touchscreen on eBay, 30 years after I invented it. This is the origin of our modern mobile phone touchscreens. It was the first large, high-resolution (1024 by 1024 point) touchscreen that could work through a thickness of glass. I built it with Alistair Campbell back in the mid-90s. Touchscreens were initially developed at CERN, and there are quite a few different approaches to the problem. I only ever claim to be one of the inventors. Around 1.4 billion touchscreens ship per year.

As we prepare for the WMTx token migration, we want to provide an update on Amplifi pre-mainnet staking and what's to come for Amplifi in the next few months 🗓️📱📡 🟣 WMT to WMTx Token Migration: According to @worldmobileteam, the token migration portal will open on September 30 at 11 am UTC and remain open until 21 October at 11am UTC. If you are staking with Amplifi, it’s important to unstake your WMT and migrate to the new WMTx token during this period. 🟣 Amplifi Staking Rewards: The current World Mobile Vault staking period ends on October 9. After this date, World Mobile Vault staking (and therefore Amplifi pre-mainnet staking) will be paused until the launch of the World Mobile Chain (dates to be confirmed by World Mobile). Although we fell below the snapshot balance for this staking period, we understand that uncertainties around staking during this time may have led some to unstake. To support our community, we will still honour staking rewards for those who staked with Amplifi as of the September 9 snapshot. 🟣 AMP NFTs: Now that some stakers are becoming eligible for AMP NFTs, we’re updating the staking app to indicate AMP NFT rewards for eligible wallets. We aim to push this update mid-October. 🟣 AMP NFT Rewards: We’ll also display other AMP NFT-related stats such as "How many AMP NFTs have wallets earned eligibility for?" This is important because the AMP NFT portion of rewards from our AMP Titan AirNode will be split evenly among AMP NFT holders. For example, if there’s one AMP NFT holder, 100% of the rewards will go to that wallet holding the NFT; if there are 10 AMP NFT holders, the rewards will be divided equally. 🟣 AMP NFT Design and Claim Functionality: Our next steps include completing the design of the AMP NFT and building the AMP NFT claim functionality within our app. We’re targeting November for this update. 🟣 Minutes Network Airdrop: If you staked WMT to Amplifi during the MNT airdrop snapshot, you will be eligible for your associated airdrop of MNT tokens. We’ll provide more details on how we’ll distribute these once we receive further Airdrop information from Minutes Network.
