I have prosecuted many of these cases. Overturning Roe will cause a surge in domestic violence and domestic homicides in states where abortion is illegal. Women will be legally tethered to their abuser for 18 years. DV and sexual violence victims’ lives should matter too.

We often don’t bring this up when speaking about abortion and pregnancy. A woman is most likely to be murdered during pregnancy than any other time in their life.
