I convinced myself love wasn’t for me, and I filled the void with distractions—porn, masturbation, anything to avoid facing what scared me. But getting sick forced me to see the truth: shutting myself off from love wasn’t protecting me, it was making everything worse. I had a choice—stay in depression or confront my fear. I chose to move forward. To lean into the discomfort of dating and intimacy instead of running from it. And on the other side of that fear, I found joy. The past two years have been the best of my life—filled with love, growth, and clarity. This album is a soundtrack to that transformation. The Beginning is at its core, is an album that celebrates life’s beauty, even in its imperfection—pointing to the rainbows while acknowledging that the sun doesn’t always shine. This marks The Beginning of a new chapter—one built on truth, courage, and gratitude.

The Beginning - available everywhere at midnight. I wrote this album when I was trying to alchemize the grief and pain in my life into beauty. It’s been a long time since we spoke. A lot has happened since my father died and I walked across America trying to figure out what was wrong, but I speak to you today from a different place—a place of joy, faith, and love. This album was my attempt to remind you that there are rainbows in your life, while admitting the sun does not always shine.
