2nd graders @CreeksideCubs practiced encoding words with the VCe pattern on their word work boards linked in the curriculum before they used a connected text to read the words in context! #LISDReads #LISDLandT #FoundationalSkillsinLISD

Students @BridlewoodES were so proud of themselves as they practiced decoding and encoding. Teachers used Start Right Readers and lessons from the Foundational Skills & Word Study Studio. One student exclaimed, “I’m reading!”
