Pleased to share our new paper which found that exposure to HFSS marketing through traditional formats (e.g. broadcast & print) was associated with greater household purchases of energy (9779kcal), protein (416g), carbohydrate(1164g) and sugar (514g) over a four week period.

We conducted two experiments, testing foods with energy densities up to ~3kcal/g, finding that high ED foods were consistently associated with greater intake.
