Also, pro-tip for non-science communicators, if you need to present internal comms/HR info to your science institution leadership - focus on the data. If you’re doing show-and-tell for a bunch of career scientists/researchers/engineers, do it in their language! 🤓

Helping distill down some important info into a few slides for HR and I am sorry (I think?) to report that I have an easier time wrapping my brain around physics and electrochemistry papers than I do understanding HR jargon. 😵‍💫

@AmySciComm Yikes! I'd love to see more studies about SciComm and the public's views of science post-pandemic. It was pretty bleak there for a while mid-pandemic with science denialism becoming mainstream and politicized, with angered scientists opting for polarization over engaging w/facts

I’m in this #scicomm seminar about the lack of trust in science/scientists by the American public and I am honestly gobsmacked that all the data presented seems like news to the attendees and even some of presenters. Guys. Where have you been for the last decade? Since 2016!!??
