I may not be the prettiest or the smartest girl in the room but I am definitely the one with the best wine.

Nearly 25 years ago, workers at a Sonoma County, Calif., vineyard constructed a baseball field amid the vines. It remains a place for camaraderie. nytimes.com/2025/09/17/bus…

@gregmcbeth Kamen - always a good choice! I was in a Riesling mood last night and brought this gem home from my last trip over there. Cheers Greg 🍷🥂

@WineEnthusiast Don’t forget nutritional yeast popcorn and a nice Chenin Blanc. Perfection. A superfood plus full of protein.

I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new company, Sannasig! I've enjoyed being an early-stage investor for the last few years, but I really love helping businesses grow. That's what we're doing now at Sannasig—helping PE-backed management teams optimize, pivot, or acquire their businesses. While VCs help companies get started, private equity firms mature companies, often through growth, strategic pivots, or acquisitions. We help when a company gets stuck and can't hit that next inflection point of growth. Or when it is faced with the need to make a strategic change in direction and realign internally. Or when an acquisition hasn't delivered the value it was expected to deliver. I'm building a principal-only consultancy of former operators to step in, roll up our sleeves, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with management to solve the thorny issues that prevent the realization of business plans. P.S. I know you're wondering - Sannasig roughly translates to "truthful" in Swedish or "proven true" in Icelandic, in the way a ship that's sailed around the world has proven itself. Put simply, we lead from our true experience.

Crashed a seminar wherein a “wine industry expert” (self-proclaimed) explained the concept of how Guerrilla Marketing could change the game for wine - all while displaying images of 🦍 on screen. It was a highly entertaining hour. Especially with a bottle of champagne in hand. In the poor “experts” defense… he looked all of 22 years old and probably wasn’t even born when the concept was first introduced.

* CANCER SUCKS * - Solution: @TheVFoundation has awarded over $310 million in cancer research grants nationwide!! Due to generous donors, the Foundation has an endowment that covers admin expenses. Dedicated to awarding 100% of all cash donations to cancer research. They do not collect a fee or hold a percentage from these donations to support ongoing operations. Rather, the foundation relies on an endowment fund to cover operating expenses and frees them to concentrate on funding more cancer research grants. HOW TO HELP: v.org/how-to-help/

$4.2 million dollars raised was inspiring. Vibe was one of camaraderie & hope for a better future. Enough to make even the most skeptical person believe real change is possible. Whether it’s your own story or that of a loved one, we’ve all been touched by cancer in some way.

Donors are important, but these folks took it to another level with their dedication and generosity. The talk of the town, guests raved about the quality occasion, camaraderie felt between attendees and bespoke wine experiences. Wine, fun, and philanthropy – what’s not to love?
