Today marks a significant milestone as Mombasa County, through the Department of Health, formalized a collaboration with Swahilipot Hub Foundation to enhance the skills of over 300 Community Health Promoters (CHPs). These professionals will undergo a comprehensive 12-month Home-Based Care at KMTC Mombasa Campus and Community Energency Care training. Upon successful completion, the CHPs will be positioned to serve in Level 2 and Level 3 hospitals across the county’s six sub-counties, strengthening healthcare services at the community level. We extend our best wishes to all CHPs as they embark on this training journey. Additionally, we sincerely appreciate the unwavering support of the Governor, whose commitment to strengthening community healthcare has been instrumental. His generous contribution towards uniforms and partial training costs highlights the County Government’s dedication to equipping healthcare workers with the necessary skills to serve the people of Mombasa effectively. This initiative reflects our shared commitment to building a resilient healthcare system through strategic partnerships and capacity-building programs.

Ramadan is a time of giving, and today at Swahilipot Hub Foundation, we embraced the spirit of kindness by distributing dates and water to Mombasa residents stuck in traffic on their way home to break their fast. We understand the struggle of being caught on the road during Iftar, so we aimed to bring a little relief and joy to those in need. This initiative is part of our commitment to community support and togetherness during this holy month. May this Ramadan be filled with blessings, generosity, and unity for all.

Thrilled to welcome the @DataKind team to Swahilipot Hub this week! Over the next few days, they'll be working with us to integrate AI automation into key digital tools like FURSA and our case management platforms. Plus, we're gearing up for a technical deep dive on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI on Wednesday! This is going to be a week of innovation and learning.

Civilizations Exchange and Cooperation Foundation (CECF) was founded in 2000 as a non-profit organization and registered in the State of Maryland-USA. It is dedicated to enhancing awareness and appreciation of the multi-faceted and innumerable benefits each culture and civilization has to offer. We talked about ways on how we can Explore cultural exchange learning programs for young people in Mombasa and the United States of America.
