@xevekiah @chattylesbian My cousin actually died this way. Her husband found her delirious with a fever one morning and he rushed to call 911 and she went to the bathroom to puke and she fell from cardiac arrest. She left behind three kids

a woman with twins found out one fetus had died. the other still had a heartbeat. her doctor told her the truth: “this is dangerous. you could get infected. you could go septic.” she asked for termination because she already had two kids at home. the hospital said: “we can’t terminate a pregnancy with a heartbeat.” so they sent her home. she started leaking fluid. then she started smelling “off.” then she started running a fever so high she couldn’t think straight. she came back. the nurse said: “you’re anxious.” she said: “i’m not anxious. i’m rotting.” they gave her Tylenol and a pamphlet. she texted her friend: “if i die, tell people it wasn’t god. it was the law.” she survived, barely. after surgery. after ICU. after her uterus was destroyed. and politicians still called it “saving babies.” but what they saved was control. and what they sacrificed was her body.
