The cover of Torishima's book, "The Ultimate Manga Technique," effectively became the last "work" between Toriyama sensei and Torishima. Along with the request to draw Goku and Mashirito, Torishima gave Toriyama sensei directions for the artwork through direct phone conversations. When Torishima asked, "Have you gotten worse at drawing (Mashirito) since it's been a while?", Toriyama sensei replied, "Huh!? Is that so!? (sweats)." This was Torishima's last warm "Botsu" to Toriyama sensei (the result is obvious if you look at the cover). For 40 years, they remained there, maintaining the same atmosphere until the very end, each doing their own work. This is that cover. This became the last illustration of "Dr. Mashirito" (a villain character from "Dr. Slump" modeled after Torishima) that Akira Toriyama drew before his death. —There is a story there that only the two of them know. If there's one fact that can be said for sure, it's that their meeting and the fateful work they did together led their lives to where they are today. No one has the right to distort that historical fact. This is a precious story, their irreplaceable narrative. It is also true that this has created a grand story that can change the lives of us—the readers. If anyone tries to distort it, I will not forgive them.

Ligar o "tom" a "tomate" hehe

@ocaionomichi De acordo com eles. Os mangakas recebem um percentual com base nas vendas dos mangas
