NFPRC Foundation convened a high-impact workshop for Members of Parliament and State Legislators, titled “Transforming Rural India for Viksit Bharat@2047: Convergence, Governance, and Rural Prosperity.” on 27.04.2026 at India Habitat Centre. Bringing together leading policymakers and practitioners, the workshop featured insightful deliberations by Dr. Jitendra Singh (@DrJitendraSingh, Minister of State, Department of Atomic Energy), Shri Bhagwat Karad (@DrBhagwatKarad, Former Minister of State, Ministry of Finance), Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi (@SudhanshuTrived, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha), and Shri B.K. Agarwal (@B_K_AGARWAL, Retd. IAS). The discussions focused on advancing rural employment, strengthening land governance through digitisation, and leveraging communication strategies to enhance legislative effectiveness. A significant moment of the workshop was the formal unveiling of NFPRC Foundation’s flagship report, “Powering the Next Billion: A Regulatory and Investment Roadmap for SMR Deployment in India,” by Dr. Jitendra Singh(@DrJitendraSingh) marking an important step in shaping India’s clean energy and nuclear policy discourse. The NFPRC Foundation convened a successful focused workshop in New Delhi on Enhancing Legislative Impact Through Digital Communications and Public Governance Tools on 30.03.2026. The discussions were practical, grounded, and centred on execution. Shri Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, IAS, spoke on making MPLADS/MLALADS local area development funds more outcome-oriented. Shri Mekala Chaitanya Prasad, IAS, spoke on strengthening the effectiveness of DISHA committees. The session was held in the presence of Shri Tarun Chugh, Chairperson, NFPRC Foundation. The workshop concluded with a discussion on digital tools and effective utilisation of social media platforms for legislators. The workshop saw active participation and meaningful exchanges.
