@awawa_lesbian composite just looks like that. the only way to get a better picture is S-video (not that much better imo) and component (ypbpr, or the red green and blue connectors with the standard RCA audio, and also supports progressive scan, i.e. 480p instead of 480i)

@Valdeka7 @EditorSecimi The secure boot requirement especially pisses me off. It's such a pain in the ass to setup on the linux distros I use, so I just keep it off and choose windows or linux in the grub menu. It's so inconvenient to go into bios, change it, and wait for an AM5 system to post.

it decides whats cheats and whats not, and i probably have some program that would trip it, but i dont play valorant luckily.

@Valdeka7 @EditorSecimi I've seen people get banned on league for opening cheat engine and modifying memory on things like emulators and single player games. Once again, absolutely insane, especially when cheat engine has actual uses, like modifying save files for speedrun games.

@Sir_radington @DougieRiv @revenant_MMXX You can get literally any console's controller working on a PC if you just spend like 30 seconds googling. I own SNES, Gamecube, and N64 to USB adapters. Any shitbox laptop from the last 15 years can emulate PS1/N64. No one's telling you to move the work PC to the living room.

PS2 and GameCube emulation is free and near-perfect. There's no "games aren't fun anymore," there are more good games than you could ever possibly have the time to play

@catgirlprostate i actively use it on my astro mixamp. it's so convenient having separate audio devices for discord and everything else without having to fumble around windows settings. USB game audio works fine, but optical audio sounds better imo.
