@AncestryUK I ordered a pet DNA kit for my husband's birthday as a surprise - it was delivered to our house in clear wrapping so no longer a surprise for him! I am really disappointed -sure lots of people buy as gifts too. PS we are pretty sure she is a border collie!

@linsblake Some customers opt to have kits delivered to alternative addresses, like a work address or a neighbors house. We have also recently begun offering gift wrapping for our standard (human) DNA tests, so hopefully this may be expanded in the future too.

@AncestryUK There isn’t any option on your profile to send a private message. I can’t find a cancellation email in my inbox. On my account it says I’m a “registered guest”, there’s paid membership options below that but I’m still being charged £10.99 a month (see image)

@AncestryUK That’s disingenuous, part of your tree offering is to also search by DNA results! It’s taken 12wk so far from my order to you receiving the test, now another 6wks for you to process the results. Test has been with you for over 5 wks/it took 6 wks for me to receive the test

@AncestryUK I feel your DNA/3 month subscription is a scam. It’s so far an 18 wk process (which is crazy!) from joining to still not getting results, which coincidentally coincides with the 3mth trial running out & you wanting to bill another £49 🤔🧐

@CariLlewelyn 2/ reach our lab after it has been popped in the mail so this kit would still be making its way to us. As soon as it reaches our lab, the kit will be scanned in and the progress bar on the DNA page of the linked Ancestry account will update accordingly to let you know.
