Hi there! We understand that you are concerned about the accuracy of your test, especially when it did not show exactly as you expected it would. It's important to bear in mind that even with a perfect knowledge of the history of your ancestors, DNA can still show some unexpected results. We each inherit 50% of our DNA from both our mother and father but exactly what 50% we inherit is random. This is known as genetic recombination and can cause unexpected DNA results for many members who do not inherit a region that they know their parent(s) has. @Ancestry I manage several other DNA tests, and I can still access them from the app. But suddenly, on the website, I can access my own. The drop down menu to view another test doesn’t work. Anyone else having this issue?

When you sign up for a billed monthly plan, you are committing to a fixed 6-month or 12-month term in exchange for a significantly reduced monthly rate. This requirement is displayed on the checkout screen before you complete your purchase, and you must agree to these terms to proceed. Because this is a long-term contract billed in smaller increments, canceling more than 30 days before the commitment ends results in an early termination fee. This fee is in place to cover the difference between the discounted rate you received and the standard month-to-month price.

For anyone thinking about doing a free trial of @Ancestry DON’T! Don’t fall for their predatory practices!! Buried in the 50 pages of user agreements and fine print, there’s a cancellation fee of $26.60 if you don’t cancel DAYS before the renewal. It’s robbery! Posting everywhere
