Here is a graphic showing the uptake of #Swift boxes by Swifts in #Suffolk over the years. It is quicker when either adding nest spaces to where Swifts breed and where they have just been blocked out from. Fitting boxes elsewhere & playing their calls works too, but takes time.

The Environment Agency has announced it completed 10,000 health checks across the water network last year, uncovering over 3,000 permit breaches. Whilst the increased oversight is a step in the right direction, the level of illegal activity it revealed is not 👇️ Thousands of breaches in a single year show that pollution remains business as usual.
