He did this to save Bato, who acted on is own, as a person, and not as a Senator. But who actually disrupted the session? Was it the NBI doing their job or Bato who ran to the plenary to have his ass covered using the Senate immunity? Was Bato in the plenary to begin with when it happened? He was OUTSIDE and chose to run into it to avoid the NBI. If self preservation means protecting the integrity, rules and dignity of the Senate, then a Senator who uses rhe Plenary as a hideout from a valid legal warrant is actually the one threatening its integrity.
