#TheWONDERfools is dressed up as a superhero comedy. Bright, fun, full of fights and laughter and people falling in love between zombie chases. But spend enough time with it and you realize the show is doing something much heavier underneath. The villains have everything. Power, intellect, resources, the certainty that they're better than everyone else. They experiment on children. They watch people die without flinching. The world bends to them and they expect it to. The heroes have almost nothing. They're misfits. People who've been overlooked their whole lives, who barely believe they matter.
