That is not a coincidence. Gold was always the easiest commodity to bring onchain: - standardized - liquid - globally recognized - already used as collateral long before crypto So tokenization did not create the demand here. It mostly gave an existing asset better rails. The bigger question is which commodities actually follow gold, and which ones never really fit the same model.
