The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (1998), in many ways, is an insult to one of the greatest animated films. It has significantly worse music, worse characters, worse animation, a worse story and its existence contradicts the first.
Not surprised it never stuck with me as a kid.

My worry for American animation was always that Into the Spider-Verse's style would become abused and people said if every film looked like that, it would be a good thing.
I'm still struggling to see what most people see in these films.

That said. We should take up more responsibility as a specie and try and better our communities instead of blaming nature

All the Bible gave is coping mechanisms for terrible things, but not a sufficient solution. It needs to account for a lot.

Why does high effort animation have to always be to forget the situational aspect of action scenes? No room to react to each obstacle in the fight. It just keeps moving.
If this show stuck to situational. The humor and characters would still be strong in the newer seasons.
