¡Iniciamos el primer crucero de monitoreo en los Distritos Nacionales de Manejo Integrado oceánicos del Pacífico colombiano! 🛥️🌊 Durante 17 días, un equipo científico de 11 expertos evaluará variables del océano y especies de aves marinas, peces, tortugas y mamíferos marinos para fortalecer el manejo de estas áreas protegidas.

La expedición reúne capacidades científicas de @Macuaticos, @FMalpelo y @UnivalleCol y hace parte del proyecto Ciencia para un océano protegido 💙, liderado por @ParquesColombia y apoyado por Fondo Acción, @HeCoColombia, @BezosEarthFund, @AndesAmazonFund, @CIColombia, @FondoPatrimonio y Save The Blue. #ParquesEsMásVida, más conocimiento sobre ecosistemas marinos profundos y de difícil acceso.

After more than 20 years of persistent effort, the organization representing the Tacana II Indigenous Communities of the Madre de Dios River (CITRMD) was granted the executive title to their ancestral lands, formally recognizing the Tacana II Communal Indigenous Territory! 🐆🌳
