Nice surprise for me this morning, a new moth for the garden, Musotima nitidalis, also Vestal, vitrealis and noctuella among 22 moths of 14sp.

@BroadGavin @StevenFalk1 Thanks Gavin, for your response I couldn't find much on the web about the species, but it sounds like I'm in the known area of the species,in south Kent. I took more photos at lunchtime today when it was ailing and now have the specimen alas.

This insect was in the moth trap last night, I think it is Metopius fuscipennis, could anyone confirm and advise UK status, thanks @StevenFalk1
