Emmanuel Asiimwe, a Master’s Fellow, presents his research at the #KASH2026 conference. His work examines how Plasmodium falciparum persists and adapts despite decades of malaria control and intervention.

James Kimani, a Master’s Fellow, presented at #KASH2026 on the population structure of Plasmodium falciparum in Kilifi. His research reveals local parasite substructures and underscores the need to tailor malaria interventions to specific regions rather than apply them uniformly.
