Meanwhile, if Jafaar were to switch it up to make the music more of his own, it would take away from the movie.

@andjustice4some That’s very interesting. I hadn’t thought about it, but maybe there are no Jafaar covers in the movie - if there were there absolutely would be a soundtrack I would imagine.

@FadeAwayMedia I don’t think it matched the level of animosity that CM Punk has at this stage. Roman hates Punk, but Punk doesn’t (nor has any reason to) hate Roman yet. So to go THAT low towards someone you don’t even hate yet seems rushed. This line should’ve been given closer to Mania.

Bully Ray believes CM Punk’s line about burying Roman Reigns next to his father didn’t quite fit the promo. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, he explained that the final line felt out of place and disconnected from the rest of the segment. 👀

WWE’s logic is likely based on past ticket sales. The last time NXT was in St. Louis, it was advertised for the Enterprise Center (where RAW would be held the night prior). Tickets weren’t selling well, so it was moved to The Factory, then Randy Orton vs Jevon Evans was advertised to boost ticket sales. There is no “hometown hero” on the card for NXT this year.

NXT Stand & Deliver will not take place WrestleMania weekend in Vegas.
