We need more identity / security professionals. Way, way, way more.

@Steve_Lockstep The term has been hijacked and bent by many. But my take is don’t trust the network as the default security boundary. We’re building a trusted identity control plane as a replacement. Strongly authenticated users on trusted or managed devices appropriately authorized.

I heard a security vendor say “Zero Trust” and “risk managed” access control in the same sentence. Sorry, that’s nonsense. If #zerotrust means trust nobody, then nobody is going to get access. Least privilege is fine but zero privilege is not reality. We need better language.
