@stephendpalley And the way many people use the term "consensus" is not even wrong! The "consensus" reached by a blockchain is very narrow; it's reached under special self-imposed constraints, and it's difficult to generalise beyond cryptocurrency.

@Steve_Lockstep I disagree. There’s plenty of identity theft that goes way beyond the simple stealing of a name and Social Security number. It’s somebody who’s actually living another identity— yours —and creating lots of problems for you.
