Randomly been thinking about individual sports records that likely will never be broken: -.406 batting avg -56 game hitting streak -# of major tennis/golf majors -total rushing yards NFL What other big ones come to mind?

I'm obsessed with network monitoring and currently using @fingapp to test WLAN. My previous house had 1950s era bathroom tiles - much thicker, and pink if you're curious - that acted like a faraday cage. Tiles from the 80s+ were cheaper, hence thinner, and far less faraday-y.

There needs to be regulation to require encryption on these video systems with auditable ways to track keys. Tesla et al is the future but not like this with these massive privacy fails. reuters.com/technology/tes…

@ArysPan I wonder if a younger sibling 200,000 years ago was jealous their older sibling got to make the handprints first.

In 2018 Dr. David Dian Zhang and his team made a groundbreaking discovery of a 200,000-year-old set of human handprints and footprints on a travertine boulder in Tibet. The fossilized impressions were made by two children and may be the world’s oldest known parietal (?) art.

I became curious on the etymology of 'nonce'. It comes from middle English meaning "one purpose". The word was especially used in the phrase "for the nonce", meaning "for the one purpose". In cryptography, a nonce is a single number used to purposely add randomness.

You need only 3 @Yubico yubikeys for your very important accounts, like email and password manager. One stays in your laptop at home. One is for travel, keep it on your keychain. One is for backup and kept in a safe. That's how you have redundancy with hardware keys.

Limit the apps you install on your devices, keep them lean and clean. This reduces vulnerabilities inherent in software and makes you safer than the next person.
