@DStarmanHockey @TheNCHC Those two leagues along with HE should play for the DI championship every year. Make it an 8 team bracket. Everyone else should go DII. Impossible for the smaller schools to compete with the portal and NIL.

NCHC was essentially formed due to the B1G being created...little did the B1G know that their vision of their own hockey conference, which many felt would dominate college hockey, created the powerhouse @TheNCHC has become. Be careful what you wish for.

Boisvert went from an 18 goal scorer as a freshman at UND to a single goal in the 1st half with BU as their top line center. Genuinely curious what changed besides the program. Not being utilized on PP? Eiserman not passing the puck?

@J_Swish24 I’ve always thought even outside of an Olympic year that there are way too many games and the quality goes down because of it. It also makes the games less meaningful. I would love a 50 game schedule and then playoffs. Shorter season would be more exciting to watch!

Guys in the #NHL look so tired at it’s not even December. The quality nightly as a whole is a byproduct of the rigorous schedule put on players during an Olympic year. Many teams playing 6 games in 9 nights. 4 games a week multiple back to backs during the same week. I’m actually surprised more guys aren’t hurt right now. Gary Bruce Bettman and co. need to figure out a better way to navigate years when there’s the Olympic factor. This isn’t healthy for the fellas. Start earlier? Shortened pre season, start reg season games at end of September. Less games? Everyone wants to be paid the same though..
Sell ads on jerseys to make up for that money? Go full billboard jersey like Europe. I don’t have the answer right now but if I’m on the league committee I’m sure we could find the solution.
