Great presentation by Jordi Merino at the ⁦@DDEA_Denmark⁩ Postdoc Summit. In Arla, we work hard to better understand how nutritional strategies can play a role in prevention and management on cardio metabolic disease.

Looking very much forward to follow this new initiative. A strong focus on the causal link between the microbiome and host health is recommended from my side.

@GilesYeo Any idea about where the exogenous carbs go after lunch (insulin dependent + exercise dependent removal) vs after dinner (insulin dependent only)? Seems like the clearance rate is very similar.

July 16 glucose report. Lesson today, when exercising, glucose levels don’t budge. If you are sat still, like at lunch today, glucose will go up. But the moment I began peddling, glucose stabilised, then started dropping. Another lesson, don’t eat an energy bar when not cycling!
