A late breeding season for Storm-petrels in the Faroes: most of our nests have just had eggs laid in the last week 🥚 Now 20 nestboxes with incubating adults and 47 boxes with nests / prospecting birds. Fingers crossed breeding success will be good despite the late start!

We have a Puffin pair breeding in one of our boxes! Really cool to acquire some footage of their in-nest behaviours: the adults visited 3 times yesterday, and each time spent ~50 mins brooding the massive fluffy chick after a feed. Good to see plenty bringing in #SandEels
