Social media is packed with teenagers trying to engagement farm. We’ve ‘bottled it’ 10 times already but extended our lead on City in last 3 games - if we lose it, say it at the end and evaluate - not every week. Meanwhile media is silent on 2bn Chelsea 22pts behind, Tottenham getting relegated, Man Utd out of all comps in Jan, Liverpool half a billion in summer and 18pts behind. But it’s Arsenal they can only talk about. They even want their own clubs to lose. Arsenal live in their heads rent free all day every day.

I have never known a player to get away with so much on a football pitch without getting booked as Rodri. Yes a great player, but if was officiated the same way as everyone else he would have literally only been available to play half the amount of games

Without being too dramatic, if we don’t go and win this league, especially against this version of City, we may not actually do it with this manager/squad. Whilst this is basically unfathomable, considering how far we’ve come, it’s a conversation.

The treble/quadruple Arsenal talk started in January if not before That's setting an impossible bar that's been reached almost never in football history. If they win the Premier League, that IS a massive success. Reaching the CL quarter-finals, on the back of the semis last year, IS success. They are growing. Comparing them to the greatest sides in history and then criticise them every time they fall short, more than holding them to high standards, is IMO just a way to deny them credit for what they're actually achieving. Having said that, today is certainly a disappointment. Both statements are true.

99% of Liverpool fans are E-Reds. Without E-Reds there is no FSG, Salah, VVD, Isak, Wirtz and other super stars. Without E-Reds there is no Anfield expansion and cheaper Anfield tickets. This is not 1982. In today’s football industry E-Reds are commercial revenue and viewership.
