Trump is losing the war BADLY. Far worse, he has destroyed any belief in the threat of the U.S. projection of military power. I wrote about this numerous times, warning that Trump risked exposing the U.S. military as a "paper tiger." That's exactly what has now happened. Now, there is no longer any credibility to the threat of force from the U.S. military, against a nation the size of Iran or larger. That includes China and Russia, of course, both of which can barely contain their laughter at Trump's bumbling idiocy of destroying the west's energy supply while also destroying the credibility of the U.S. military and -- with it -- the only thing propping up the petrodollar. Trump isn't just a catastrophe for his own term, he's a catastrophe spanning GENERATIONS of American foreign policy that built up the credibility of U.S. military might. All that has vanished in less than three weeks under the direction of a bumbling, delusional, egotistical madman who is utterly detached from reality. This is the beginning of the end of the American empire. It will never recover from Trump's demented "excursions."
