I'd like libertarians and blind Milei supporters to explain this to me. A 23 year old to head Nuclear in Argentina, barely has an (unrelated) education and now a salary that puts him in the 0.1% in Argentina. This adds to not so great economic stats coming up these days from there, getting yet another IMF loan, international outlets reporting on homelessness and poverty increasing in the streets, more corruption cases aside from stealing 3% from government pharma contracts and scamming many with a digital coin. Milei was just crying at the Wall in Israel, and when asked if he prayed for Pope Francis on his death anniversary, it was that day, refused to answer. It's worth remembering that he called the Pope a dirty, filthy (soiled in excrement, very Talmudic of him) communist who worked for the devil. Now look at the kid he appointed in charge of Argentina's State Nuclear power. This is Trump's second best ally in the world in a very short list. Another 🤡.

@AndresGray12 @CharlieSansom That comparison doesn’t hold. Argentina isn’t the UK. The UK has FPTP, stable institutions, and multiple right-leaning parties competing. That punishes fragmentation, not rewards it. Milei is the exception created by crisis not a model you can copy into normal conditions.

No way. it’s a total mess, and it’s actually attracting some very unsavoury people. He’s in trouble because if he tries to become more popular, he would have to soften his positions, which would lose him support. And if he doesn’t soften them, he won’t attract the general public so he can’t win either way. It’s also full of odd spokespeople who seem to hold bizarre beliefs. It’s just going to help the left not unite the right.
